CSA – Food Basket Program

Are you tired of looking all over for fresh fruits and vegetables that are grown without chemicals? Do you go to the grocery store but you don’t know what’s actually organic food and what’s not? Do you want to buy your food locally, supporting local farmers and business owners and be able to trust that the food you’re buying is grown in a safe, all-natural way? Do you want to actually be able to meet your farmer and build a relationship with them?

If any of those statements describe you, then have we got an opportunity for you!! We are offering our CSA/Food Basket Program again this year (2020)! CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.

If you sign up for our CSA Program you will receive a basket of in season, farm fresh vegetables each week for 20 weeks. The CSA starts in June and goes into October. Members choose either a Half Share or Whole Share. A Half Share is normally enough for 1-2 adults and a Whole Share is usually the right size for a small family. Members will need to fill out a membership form and return it with payment before the season starts. (All of this is explained in the membership form.)

A Half Share regular price is $330.00 ($16.50 worth of veggies each week). There is a 10% discount if you sign up and pay in full by March 15th. That makes the price $297.00, but you will still receive $16.50 value for 20 weeks! I can send you the Membership Agreement via Facebook Messenger or email.

A Full Share regular price is $550.00 ($25.00 worth of veggies each week). There is a 10% discount if you sign up and pay in full by March 15th. That make the price $495.00, but you will still receive $25.00 value for 20 weeks! I can send you the Membership Agreement via Facebook Messenger or email.

A 5% discount is available until April 15th, after that it will be full price!

Below is our CSA Member Agreement Form. It explains how our CSA works, what to expect and costs. Please feel free to read through it and ask any questions you may have. We are still working hard in this time of weirdness and we will be adjusting as needed to find ways to bring you our farm fresh produce!

We can email you a copy of the membership agreement for you to sign and return. We also have several payment options available. We accept credit/debit cards, Paypal, Cash App, check/money order or cash. We are attempting to keep this as contactless as possible, so credit/debit card, PayPal or Cash App is preferred.

Community-supported agriculture (CSA) is a food production and distribution system that directly connects farmers and consumers. In short: people buy “shares” of a farm’s harvest in advance and then receive a portion of the crops as they’re harvested.

The term “CSA” is also used to refer to an individual farm’s CSA program.

Farmers earn important early-season capital and have a guaranteed market for their produce. Barring a disastrous harvest, consumers enjoy overall lower food costs, field-fresh produce, and greater access to high-demand fruits and vegetables.

If you want to know more about our CSA/Food Basket Program, fill out the form below and we will email you a membership form. The membership form explains all aspects of our CSA Program. If you are interested in signing up after reading the membership form, simply fill out the application in the membership form and mail your application and payment to the farm!
